New Delhi: The upcoming Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift is set to spearhead Maruti Suzuki’s 2026 product lineup, with a market launch expected by the end of April. The compact SUV, which was last updated in its second-generation avatar in June 2022, is now due for a mid-cycle refresh aimed at enhancing both its styling and feature list.

According to early reports and recent spy shots, the Brezza facelift will receive a series of cosmetic upgrades. These are likely to include redesigned front and rear bumpers, a new-look radiator grille and updated LED headlamps and tail lamps. The SUV is also expected to get a fresh set of 16-inch alloy wheels, giving it a more contemporary and premium appearance while retaining its familiar silhouette.
On the inside, Maruti Suzuki appears to be focusing heavily on feature enhancements to keep the Brezza competitive in the crowded compact SUV segment. The facelifted model is expected to come equipped with a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, replacing the current 9-inch unit. Additionally, features such as a panoramic sunroof and ventilated front seats are likely to be introduced for the first time on the Brezza, along with electric adjustment for the driver’s seat.
In a significant update for CNG buyers, the Brezza facelift could also feature an underbody-mounted CNG tank. This change is expected to free up boot space, addressing one of the key limitations of current CNG models and improving overall practicality for daily use.
Mechanically, the SUV is likely to continue with the existing 1.5-litre petrol engine, offered with both manual and automatic transmission options. Maruti Suzuki is expected to retain its focus on fuel efficiency and reliability, which have been key selling points for the Brezza in the Indian market.
Spy shots of the test mule indicate that while the overall design remains largely unchanged, Maruti Suzuki has made subtle yet noticeable improvements to the exterior detailing. The interior, however, remains heavily camouflaged, suggesting more substantial upgrades in terms of technology and comfort.
Once launched, the Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift will continue to rival models such as the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet. With an expected starting price of around ₹9 lakh (ex-showroom), the updated Brezza will aim to strengthen Maruti Suzuki’s position in one of India’s most competitive SUV segments.
